Look who's 2 months old!!!!

Carter man turned 2 months old yesterday!!!  I can't believe how quickly he is growing and changing!  I waited until today to do his post because we went to the doctor this morning for his 2 month check-up.  Everything went great!!  He now weighs 13.4 lbs (90%) and is 23 1/2 inches long (75%).  His head circumference was 40 cm (50%).  Dr. Azam said he looks great.  I had some concerns as he is STILL congested.  I suck boogies out of his nose like three times a day and the poor guy is still stuffed up.  She thinks it's probably seasonal allergies, which unfortunately they can do nothing about because he is so young.  He's also has some cradle cap going on, and she told us to try some selsen blue to clear it up.

He also got his first round of shots today.  He took them like a champ!!!  Not a sound for the first two shots and just a tiny cry on the third one.  I've got some tough kiddos because Cailynn was the same way!

So Carter now that you are 2 months old what are you up to??

You are wearing size 1-2 diapers. 

You wear mostly size 3 month clothes. 

You are really starting to smile a lot.  You love to stick your tongue out! 

You are following objects with your eyes really well.

You "talk" all day long!  You make so much noise!  I think you are trying to keep up with your sister.

You still have blue eyes which makes me happy!!!  They are so handsome on you!

You love to take baths.

You are sleeping pretty good at night.  You've slept all through the night 3 or 4 times but mostly you go to bed around 10 and then wake up around 3 and then sleep until 6.

You are getting better at sleeping in your crib.  You like to sleep on your side and tummy best.

Unfortunately we are making the switch to formula.  Mommy just can't keep up with you. 

You love to stand up.  You push up on my lap all the time.

You love to sit in your bumbo chair. 

You love tummy time.

You are such a happy boy.

Really the only time you cry is if you are hungry. dirty, or sleepy. 

We are so thankful you are ours!  You have made our sweet family complete and we love you more than you know!
