4 C's in Love: Grandma and Grandpa come to Florida

My dad and Mary were able to come to Florida this weekend to spend some time with us and meet Carter for the first time.

Cailynn had a blast and Carter got spoiled rotten.

They chose not to fly in but to drive!!! It took them about 6 days to get here. They made several stops along the way, but they got in early Friday afternoon.

Saturday morning we thought we were going to have to find indoor activities to do because it had rained all night and all morning. But by about 9:00 the rain stopped and the sun came out so it was off to the zoo. Cailynn loved looking at all the animals.

We won't tell daddy what she is doing in this picture. Let's just say Gator fans would be proud! haha.

Then it was time for the petting zoo. Cailynn was very stingy with the food. She kept getting one kernel of food out for the animals. She refused to let the animals eat out of her hand, but she loved watching them eat out of our hands.

Then up to feed Sydney the giraffe.

After the zoo we went and ate at Pineapple Willies.

When we got home it was time for the pool!

Cailynn riding her bike! We ended up ordering pizza and having a picnic on the driveway. It was the perfect temperature outside and so much fun.

Sunday we drove out to Seaside.

We ate at a great little restaurant.

and then had some yummy ice cream.

Monday morning I had to go to work to keep the hooligans at school under control. So grandma and grandpa watched the kids. When I came home Cailynn was pulling brother in the wagon. They had gone for a walk around the neighborhood!
