So Casey and I's typical weekend is very quite and uneventful for two reasons, one there is not a whole lot to do in Panama City and two we are broke!! Not the case this weekend. Friday night we went to dinner at The Red Elephant with Tom and Katie and little baby Bethany. It was yummy. Afterward we went to Friday Fest downtown. They close down the streets and a bunch of vendors are selling food and other stuff. Casey and Tom talked cars most of the night and loved looking at all the old time cars. It was fun.

Saturday was Kari's birthday so to celebrate we went to Destin to PF Changs for dinner. We hadn't been in a really long time and had forgotten just how good those lettuce wraps are!! Good Stuff!! After dinner we went to Brad's house for some ice cream cake. It took 4 people to light all the candles on the cake. Apparently there were too many because the cake started on fire!!! It was hilarious.

Sunday is now offically football day! The Saints (Brad and Kari's team) were playing the Bucs (Casey's team) so we had a little BBQ and watched the game together. Casey wasn't a happy camper with the end result but it happens. I'm just excited for tomorrow night when the Broncos play the Raiders. Unfortunately it doen't start until 10 PM here, so we will have to Tivo it and watch it Tuesday....so don't tell me how it ends!!
