Day 3 – December 24th – Sledding at Top of the Pines
Monday we geared up for some sledding. Dad took us to a place called Top of the Pines just outside Ridgway. It was a little hike back and then a great sledding hill with an open valley at the bottom. There wasn’t a ton of snow, but it started snowing while we were up there!
Cailynn was a sledding fool! She would barely get up the hill, and jump right back on the sled and go down again. She was even going head first! Wild girl!
Uncle Matt and Morgan and Brady got in around noon on Christmas Eve. It was still snowing pretty good, so we had to go out and make some snowmen and play in the snow!
Hmmmm….Child Labor Laws??
Later that night we put out some cookies and milk for Santa, and some carrots for the reindeer! We were hopeful that Santa would find us all the way in Colorado!
