Carter is 5 months old!

WOW five months old! I wish time would just slow down!  So Carter man now that you are 5 months old, what are you up to??

Just this past week you have started sitting up on your own.  I think you made it like 5 minutes before toppling over the other day.  You still love to stand up.  You get super excited and feel so big!  You love to be in your exersaucer.  You are really into chewing on the sunshine toy that is on it.

You are wearing size 3 diapers and size 6 to 9 month clothes.  I'm not sure about your weight this month since we haven't had to go to the doctor all month (knock on wood).  You love bath time.  Not sure if it's because you laugh at your sister while you're in there, or because you like the water.  You have really started splashing around in there too!  You are eating 6 oz every 3 hours.  AND....you are pretty much sleeping through the night.  You still have not learned to roll from your back to your tummy so when you wake up on your back you get upset.  So we just roll you back over and you go right back to sleep.  

You LOVE your toes.  You are always grabbing them.  Changing your diaper is a challenge now because you won't let go of your toes.  We tried giving you some solid food and you just spit it right out.  Cailynn was eating solids for a month already at 5 months, but you just aren't ready yet and that's ok.

You are about to go to daycare full time as Mommy has to start school.  You've gone a few times and Ms. Kellye agrees that you are rotten.  You are looking more and more grown up each time I look at you.  It makes me sad.  Happy 5 months Carter!
